Job Description:
Position Overview: As a Senior Mechanical Engineer you will lead and contribute to a wide range of mechanical engineering projects. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing and delivering high-quality, energy-efficient, and sustainable solutions. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to meet project objectives and exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Design and Analysis: Develop detailed Mechanical Designs, conduct engineering analyses, and provide innovative solutions for complex mechanical systems.
- Energy Efficiency: Implement energy-efficient strategies and sustainable practices in mechanical systems and HVAC designs.
- Quality Assurance: Review and ensure the quality and accuracy of design documents, calculations, and specifications.
- Client Interaction: Establish and maintain strong client relationships, understand project requirements, and provide technical guidance.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including electrical engineers, architects, and project managers.
- Code Compliance: Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Mentorship: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering their professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Master's degree is a plus.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus building systems.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and HVAC design tools.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with sustainable and energy-efficient design practices.
