Senior Mechanical Engineer

A key client within the Engineering industry based in Greater Manchester are currently expanding their team with a Senior Mechanical Engineer as soon as possible due to company and contract growth. This client is offering a full time, permanent post with the ideal candidate having technical excelling demonstrating leadership and mentoring skills.

The Role

Key purpose of the role is being expected to be aware with the latest editions of technical standards which apply to MEP design across various sectors of the client and communicating this efficiently to clients and collaborators.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Review mechanical design constraints
• Develop technical specifications and equipment schedules for projects delivery
• Delivering quality designs with complete HVAC & PH package

The Candidate

• To be considered for this role you will require a Chartership with CIBSE, iMechE or another recognised association within the Mechanical Engineering field.

The below software capabilities would be beneficial for the role:

• Revit, AutoCAD and BIM Environment.
• IES Virtual Environment (Basic knowledge allowing reports to be reviewed)

Salary ranges from £40,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience
