We are currently looking for a Senior Mechanical Estimator to join our team and play a key role in the pre-construction phase of our projects. As a Senior Mechanical Estimator, you will be responsible for:
- Creating accurate and competitive cost estimates and tenders from mechanical services design drawings (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning).
- Working closely with the business development, design, and operations teams to ensure the best technical and commercial solutions are delivered to our clients.
- Reviewing and evaluating tender documents, specifications, drawings, and contracts.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Assisting in the training and development of junior estimators.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Estimator in the building services industry.
- A relevant qualification in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- A strong knowledge of mechanical services systems, standards, codes, and regulations.
- A proficient user of computer estimation software, such as Trimble or Causeway.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- A proactive, flexible, and team-oriented approach to work.
