Location: London only- hybrid (40% in the office)

COMPANY SUMMARY
We are supporting a well established Global but Small Pharmaceutical company in Central London with a focus on Pain, Women's Health, Oncology & Inflammation & Anti-Infectives with the objective of becoming the biggest anti-infectives company globally.

ROLE SUMMARY
This role is just covering 3 territories (UK, Netherlands and Nordics), so would suit someone who has some above country experience ideally, but they would also consider someone with strong UK & Ireland experience. Any experience with Netherlands and / or Nordics would be a huge bonus. Additionally, candidates must have final signatory experience and have worked in a similar role (Medical Director, Medical Affairs Head, Therapeutic Area Lead)
You will be line managing 2 people in the UK (1 MSL & 1 Medical Advisor) and 1 MSL in the Netherlands, so previous line management of MSLs and / or MAs is really important (they want to see good evidence of strong leadership).
Responsibilities;
- Develop affiliate medical objectives and plans aligned with the EU and affiliate strategy.
- Monitor changes in medical/clinical practice and communicate updates to the affiliate.
- Evaluate and optimize strategic and tactical approaches, considering local and global trends.
- Participate in the EU affiliate medical leadership group to align affiliate needs with the EU medical team.
- Collaborate in cross-functional teams to achieve affiliate and EU objectives.
Requirements;
- Experienced MD with GMC Registration or Final Signatory experience
- At least 3 years in a similar role (Medical Director, Medical Affairs Head, Therapy Area Head)
- Several years in a pharmaceutical company in relevant innovative healthcare sectors
- Can travel, incl. international trips (20-30% on average, but could be more at times)
