Albion Rye Associates are excited to be supporting our client, a dynamic healthcare communications agency who bring science to life through creativity. This agency specialises in Medical Education, Promotional, and Strategic communications.

This role will see you being responsible for securing, retaining and growing business within your accounts. You will take an active role in new business development, contributing to and leading proposal development, pitches and winning new work, as well as leading and managing a team of client service personnel to ensure quality deliverables on time, on brief, and within budget.

Responsibilities:     

• Take responsibility for the growth of one or more client accounts. Maintain high visibility within the client organisation, developing strong relationships with key contacts and senior-level stakeholders and obtaining regular feedback
• Provide senior counsel and leadership to clients, cultivating strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and assisting them to achieve their goals through the proposal and development of high-quality Medical Communications
• Take responsibility for all account deliverables and outputs 
• Take responsibility for the financial performance of allocated accounts, including meeting revenue and profitability targets. Provide sign-off for identified budgets
• Lead and manage junior team members with planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance and supporting professional development
• Take an active role in new business development, helping to secure and respond to RFPs, contributing to and leading pitches and winning new work. Present internally and externally

Experience:

• Science-related degree is essential
• Experience in a healthcare agency environment is essential
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Good knowledge of all aspects of Medical Communications 
• Demonstrated ability to line manage junior team members
