Senior Menswear Designer

We are looking for an accomplished Menswear Designer based in our office in East London. The  successful candidate will assist all aspects of the design process from conception to final product,  proactively managing the delivery of all product details and offering solutions to creative problems, all  whilst maintaining, understanding, and executing the Billionaire Boys Club brand DNA. 

Responsibilities:  

• Manage the complete design process from conception through to production.
• Creating CAD Tech Packs for products.
•  Support the Creative Director’s vision and ensure a high standard of quality, with attention to  detail, acrossall deliverables. 
• Continuously motivate and spur brand communications through design and creativity.
•  Creating original graphics that appropriately reflect Billionaire Boys Club EU’s design ethos.
•  Deliver an appropriate creative approach for projects and offer recommendations or solutions to ideas, as needed. 
• Support production of collection by reviewing all prototypes, samples and print strike-off’s to maintain a high standard of quality and detail. 
• Maintaining communication between factory agents and suppliers, where necessary.
•  Ad-hoc duties 

Skills Required: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Menswear Design, Graphic Design, Fashion or related field.
•  Understanding of garment specifications and technical knowledge used for improving communication between supplier & production. 
•  Cultural reference: must understand the story of BBC / ICECREAM and the importance of brand DNA/inspirations. 
• Proven tech pack/spec sheet proficiency with great understanding of illustrator.
•  Self-motivated, positive work attitude, attention to detail and strong sense of responsibility. 
• Understanding of sportswear, streetwear, military, and luxury design cues.
•  Proven ability to combine conceptual, creative, and strategic thinking.
• Desire and ability to thrivein a fast-paced environment and to effectively support  multiple projects, in various phases, and under tight deadlines. 
• Strongsense of personal style.
