MEP Engineer / Project Manager - Leeds

The business has achieved strong YOY growth, but now face a number of positive challenges. These include managing revenue, increased customer demand, sustainability, and expansion of service offering. They have a host of clients with an extensive portfolio of projects across all sectors including, but not limited to; higher education, commercial, industrial, water, local authority, leisure, healthcare, public, EV charging stations, carbon.
Role responsibilities
- Site and client visits.
- Project management.
- Analysing customer requirements and create specifications.
- Support debug, troubleshooting, and integration activities.
- Analysing, size and select commercial components.
- Evaluating strength and cycle time requirements.
- Reviewing drawings and prepare drawing documentation.
- Communicating with team members from various departments and suppliers.
- Ensuring adherence to all health and safety rules and procedures.
- Undertaking site inspection reports and providing technical support during construction.
- Working closely with the client to further develop relationships and promote the company.

Experience/Qualifications
- Proven ability to manage and supervise Engineers to support Project Managers and Estimators
- Relevant formal qualifications are required covering all aspects of Mechanical / Electrical Building Services with substantial experience.
- Mechanical – Commercially aware of Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning, Domestic Hot and Cold-Water Services, Above Ground Foul Drainage and Utilities.
- Electrical – Commercially aware of small Power, Lighting, Emergency Lighting (internal and external), Fire Alarm, Security, Data and Utilities.
- Computer literate with a working knowledge of AutoCAD and design package software.
- Project Management from conception to completion.
- M&E engineering experience
Package / Remuneration:
The remuneration package offered at this stage is subject to the experience of the candidate, but will likely include the following:
Basic Salary: Between £40,000 - £60,000
Company Car: Car Allowance (£6K)
Additional: Health, Pension, laptop, mobile phone
