In this role, you’ll lead the commercial and growth agenda through our National Indirect Retail partners. This includes our relationship with strategic partner, Currys. You will take the lead in developing growth opportunities for both our existing categories (such as Sky Q, Broadband and Mobile), as well as new category opportunities (such as Sky Stream, Glass and Live).
What you’ll do:
- Define the target, objective and delivery plan to achieve targets in the defined National Accounts
- Be responsible for hitting those targets. Be proactive and responsive to course-correct when missing target. Manage our multi-category ambition – TV, BB & Mobile
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with a wide variety of partners across the business. The role requires a high degree of skilled stakeholder management both internally and externally – finance, commercial, display, operations, frontline teams, procurement, legal, trading, & training
- Introduce, adapt and maintain an annual Joint Business Plan, Commercial Trading Terms, Contract & Distribution/Display/POS agreements, capturing the requirements of both parties (Sky and the National Account)
- Build the quarterly plan that delivers the requirements set out in the JBP/Terms, working 3-6 months ahead
- Aid the implementation of key critical initiatives (eg. Sky Glass) and new category development in the National Accounts
- Represent the view of the National Account and their consumers, and bring that to life in trading and planning forums
- Represent Sky’s priorities, objectives and requirements across our National Account’s network
What you'll bring:
- Significant experience of dealing with National Indirect/3rd party customers
- Ability to build, develop and maintain strong, long-term, strategic business relationships with National Accounts
- Ability to build and plan activity and development landmarks
- Excellent communication skills; proactively helping to manage expectations both internally and externally
- Excellent presentation, planning, organisational and time-management skills
- Be self-motivated and have a positive, ‘can-do’ mindset-Be comfortable with meeting the challenges of tight deadlines and juggling multiple partner inputs (internal and external)
- Be flexible, open and curious - with the ability to embrace change and juggle a broad workload
- Be proactive and hungry for new opportunities-Be comfortable with data, analysis with strong commercial foresight, drawing out opportunities to drive sales
