Overview:
We are seeking a Senior .Net Developer responsible for designing and developing an advanced web application using the .Net framework.
Apadmi is looking for trailblazing Software Engineers well-seasoned in problem-solving, software languages and looking to the horizon of technology.
What you’ll do
Provide technical input into our award winning projects as a Senior .Net Developer, working collaboratively with a variety of other areas of the business as part of a Scrum Team.
Work with other senior members of the team to design, develop, and maintain solutions using the .Net framework that conform to required functional and nonfunctional requirements.
Write clean, testable and scalable code using a cloud native architecture.
Maintain code quality, contribute to code standards and stay on top of documentation.
Actively test and debug work to ensure the functionality and performance of applications.
Collaborate with stakeholders and product managers to define and enhance products in development.
Provide support and direction to junior members.
Stay informed about the latest updates, trends relating to Microsoft related technologies.
You’ll be a champion for agile, driving continuous improvement and proactive changes to the codebase.
What we’re looking for
To be successful in this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has…
A minimum 5 years commercial experience.
Proven experience delivering highly available, highly performant systems using .Net, including knowledge of the tooling.
A strong understanding of unit and integration testing, design patterns and software development best practices.
A strong understanding of secure development practices.
Proven experience working with one or more cloud platforms e.g Azure / AWS.
Experience working with IaC technologies such as Terraform.
Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
A passion for development – keeping up to date with the latest tech.
Experience with Agile ways of working.
An expert at problem solving and debugging cloud based applications both in development and live environments.
Comfortable and confident engaging with clients and stakeholders.
Is pragmatic, balancing the need for strong foundations and adhering to deadlines.
Good collaboration and communication skills.
Experience in mentoring junior engineers through code reviews and guidance.
A strong team player.
Although not essential, the following areas are nice to haves
Experience working with Node.js.
Microsoft Azure certification.
Experience working within an agency setting.
