Network Technologies team are a key part of how we plan to meet the changing expectations of customers and regulators.
This is a key role within the Network Technologies team where you will also support our existing network infrastructure. This will involve the day to day running and monitoring of the network throughout the enterprise diagnosing and remediating problems as necessary. Maintaining existing network solutions that include Core Network Data Centre, LAN, Wi-Fi and F5.
Where you fit in:
As our Senior Network Engineer you will
- Technically lead and support IT projects.
- Working with various Project Managers to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Develop new network solutions to fit the requirements of the business and IT strategy.
- Plan your work and ensure project tasks are completed on time
- Ensuring technical documentation is completed and updated to required standards.
- Investigating and resolving network incidents, liaising with Incident Managers, and helping to resolve faults reported through our internal reporting systems.
- Creating and performing authorised changes to environments.
- Collaborate and build excellent relationships with external partners
- After a period of time you will be part of a stand-by on-call rota
What skills & qualifications you will need:
- CCNP or equivalent experience.
- Strong background with Cisco Data Centre network technologies in large-scale deployments (7K, 5K & 9K).
- Experience of working with Data Centre switching, routing, and other network technologies (eg. OSPF, VXLAN, VRF, Spanning tree).
- Experience of supporting and maintaining a Cisco LAN
- Firewall experience is required using Cisco ASA, Firepower and Palo Alto
- Experience of managing and maintaining Wi-Fi, preferably Cisco Wi-Fi.
- Demonstrating excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ensuring technical documentation is completed and updated to required standards.
- Creating and performing authorised changes to network environments.
- Experience of working with external suppliers

- VMware NSX-T knowledge
- F5 Load balancer experience
We embrace a flexible working model, where our hybrid setup typically requires an average of 2 days in the office per week. This could be slightly more when collaborative efforts, training or meeting deadlines demand it. For those who prefer to work on-site, our office is open Monday-Friday during working hours.
