Responsibilities:
- Design and implement complex network solutions based on client requirements and industry best practices.
- Configure, deploy, and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
- Conduct network capacity planning and performance monitoring to optimize network efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors when necessary.
- Ensure network security by implementing appropriate access controls, firewalls, and encryption protocols.
- Lead network infrastructure projects, including migrations, upgrades, and expansions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior Network Engineers.
- Stay updated with emerging networking technologies and industry trends to propose innovative solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (equivalent experience will be considered).
- Extensive experience in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting in enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, VLANs, STP) and network security principles.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco networking equipment (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls).
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SNMP, NetFlow, Wireshark).
- Familiarity with cloud networking concepts and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, SD-WAN).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex network issues.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.
