Senior Network Engineer

Due to continued growth and success of the business, the infrastructure and support team has an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Administrator. Core skills required are in supporting and developing Cisco LAN / WAN Infrastructures, Network Security and WinTel. Along with these skills, the individual should have a broad knowledge and hands on experience in associated infrastructure technologies with good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
This is a unique opportunity for a candidate looking to broaden their skills and be involved in many different projects along with supporting and developing their BAU assigned role.
Scope of Role
· LAN / WAN management & development across 18 UK sites
· Security management of LAN / WAN
· Providing support to Infrastructure security team
· General IT infrastructure support.
· Core site logistics based WiFi management & development.
Key Responsibilities
* Responsible for the management, documentation and development of the LAN / WAN environment across the group.
* Implement, document and manage the various network based security across the environment.
* Vulnerability Management & Reporting of LAN / WAN infrastructure.
* Multi location infrastructure development, support and documentation. (18 UK Sites)
* Cyber Essentials & ITIL practices are preferred.

Qualifications, experience, skills, knowledge and competencies required to fulfil the role
· LAN / WAN (Cisco) development & support.
· Network Security.
· Basic virtualization deployment and administration (ESX).
· Active Directory Management.
· Windows Server +2019, management, development and troubleshooting.
· Endpoint Security.
· Documentation & Asset Management.
