Senior Nurse - National Community Lead
Location: South East Region - London
Salary: Up to £50,000 depending on experience
Must hold a UK driving license - national travel is required for this role.
Working away from home and across a 7 days week (as and when required)
About us:
- An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Nurse (RMN & RNLD) to work as a National Lead Nurse within the community. You will work closely with our private clients and healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless, organised an effective care package is always delivered.
- Providing leadership advise and support in relation to the delivery of high quality care, in line with the CQC regulations. You will manage client care through education, enablement and long-term condition management, keeping clients living within their own homes to avoid admission.
- We have been providing highly personalised care to private clients in their homes and local communities for 12 years.
What is my role?
- You will take a hands-on approach, working with and taking responsibility for the mental health nursing and mental health support worker teams.Your primary duties will include arranging care plans, visiting clients to monitor the care provided (including medication) and working with the care team to assess the treatment provided.
- You will ensure that all activities meet the required standards through regular field visits, audits and compliance audits. You will prepare reports, planning and utilising resources to attend clinical planning meetings and reviews.
- Recruiting, training, and supervising staff and communicating the needs of our clients within the team meetings. Ensuring health and safety compliance including risk assessments, lone working assessments, and environmental assessments are completed and adhered to.
Are you...?
- A Senior Nurse(RMN/ RNLD) with two years nursing experience? Band 6 or 7?
- Clinical and operational experience? Managing teams?
- Senior Nurse(RMN/ RNLD) with a valid NMC pin and full eligibility to live and work in the UK?
- Previous experience in - Adult / Children / Eating Disorder / Autism / Mental Health / Clinical Governance.
