We are recruiting for a fantastic position, working for a dynamic and fast growing Training and Consulting firm based in Henley on Thames.
The Senior Operations Executive will be responsible for supporting the delivery of workshops and consultancy projects across the globe mainly for a key client, whilst also being the first port of call for the Operations Executives within the business whilst supporting the Operations Manager with a variety of tasks.
They will also be responsible for reviewing, identifying and executing process improvements and taking control of a new project focusing on digitalisation therefore experience similar to this is essential.
Our client is offering a basic salary of £35k - £36k plus a £3600 tax free bonus every December and excellent benefits, including a company bonus of up to 10%.
Monday to Thurs - office based. Friday - working from home. 9am - 5pm.
Responsibilities
- Continuously review, identify and execute process improvements including ideas on digitalisation
- To plan and execute the complete end to end operational process for the workshops and consulting projects for allocated clients, tasks to include:-
- Liaise with Workshop Lead Facilitator to understand the requirements and agree the plan and key timelines including travel and accommodation and update the relevant documentation
- Co-ordinate the booking of all travel requirements with timely communication for the facilitators
- Organise all workshop materials including the coordination of printing and the collation of equipment and the delivery to the facilitator & collection post the workshop for face to face workshops
- Liaise with client contacts to manage the workshop logistics including venue requirements and additional project administration as required such as following up for POs and Contracts
- Manage the pre-communication with delegates - communicating the joining instructions and obtaining their learning objectives
- Ensure all links and communications are set up and distributed for virtual workshops
- Complete post workshop tasks including collation of delegate feedback
- Ensure all processes are documented and kept up to date
- Be the first point of call for the Operations Executives for all queries
- Support the Operations Manager with adhoc tasks as required and the sales team with client specific tasks eg helping to prepare review decks for client meetings, draft the work won brief, update internal systems (CMap) with project information
Skills/Experience
- Proven commercial operational experience ideally within an FMCG environment
- Superb planning and organisational skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset
- Excellent time management with the ability to prioritise workload effectively and respond to all queries in a timely manner
- Proactive - looks for ways to add value beyond clients/internal customers immediate requests and anticipates future needs and creates solutions
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a cross functional team to get the job done
- Ability to use Microsoft packages proficiently - PowerPoint, Excel & Word
