Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations across various departments to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Manage and optimise supply chain processes to ensure smooth and cost-effective operations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure operational excellence and compliance with industry regulations.
- Monitor and analyse industry trends and market changes to inform strategic decision-making.
- Ensure all operational activities adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Manage budgets and forecasts, optimising resources for maximum efficiency and profitability.
- Implement and utilise metrics and reporting systems to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, with a strong focus on the Shipping, Refinery or Trading industry.
- Proven track record of leading and managing large teams and projects.
- Exceptional organisational and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English; additional language proficiency is an advantage (German or Italian)
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
