Senior Operations Manager / Events - Italian Speaker

A leading Trade Show platform for the promotion of Italian food and beverage and a leading European IT Trade Show platform has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Operations Manager with fluency in Italian and 5+ years of operations line management experience to join their team based in the London Office.

Candidates must have a solid and proven background in managing a range of events end to end.

You will have exceptional organisational skills, flawless attention to detail, and excellent negotiation skills. You will have considerable experience in managing a variety of Trade Shows in a similar environment. You will use your charismatic personality to confidently lead the running of their events from set up to break down.

You will be based in the London office but working on Trade Shows in Chicago, London, Amsterdam, Toronto, Riga, Parma, Warsaw, and Dubai. Travelling to the shows is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop And Deliver final event logistics plans to support project plans.
• Budget management and cost negotiations
• Source and Negotiate suppliers for the shows
• Lead negotiation with vendors to secure service contracts within the event budget
• Managing new and existing client relationships
• Manage escalated on-site issues.
• Manage execution of event logistics plans to support project plans.
• Review vendors based on quotations obtained for the provision of goods and services.
• Full logistics management, including travel and accommodation booking
• Onsite management
• Review vendors' project deliverables to ensure quality standards
• Work with the management team to deliver successful day-to-day operations and customer service and review performance

Required Experience:

• 5+ years' Prior Operations line management experience, ideally gained within trade show
• BSc / BA Degree or equivalent experience
