We have a unique opportunity for a Senior Operations Manager to join Northpoint. This role will involve working closely with the Assistant Director of Operations for Adult Services to support the Leeds Mental Wellbeing Service (LMWS) and Primary Care Mental Health (PCMH) portfolio. You will be joining us on a permanent basis with a competitive salary of £50,952 to £57,349, equivalent to Agenda for Change Band 8a.

You will oversee and support the management of LMWS teams, represent Northpoint in wider delivery partnerships, and ensure that operational arrangements are in place to deliver high-quality services.
What you will be doing as our Senior Operations Manager:
As the Senior Operations Manager, your primary responsibility will be to support the Assistant Director of Operations for Adults LMWS and PCMH portfolio. In this role, you will ensure that operational and clinical approaches align with Northpoint's values and ethos, providing high-level support to the LMWS consortium within a high-volume clinical service.
Your key duties involve holding day-to-day operational responsibility for Leeds Mental Health Wellbeing Service, offering regular line management support and supervision, conducting training needs analysis, and overseeing annual appraisals. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in fostering a robust performance management culture, aiding managers in meeting both locally agreed and national targets.
Your involvement will extend to ensuring the successful integration of PCMH within Community Mental Health Transformation. As part of your responsibilities, you will oversee and support team management, represent Northpoint in broader delivery partnerships, and establish operational arrangements to guarantee the delivery of high-quality services.
What are we looking for in our ideal Senior Operations Manager:
- Qualified to degree level or equivalent relevant experience
- Significant experience of working at management level across both voluntary and statutory services
- Experience of developing operational policies and procedures in a health and care setting
- Sound understanding of clinical governance, including risk management and safeguarding
- IT skills (Microsoft Office packages, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams)
- Able to build and maintain relationships, both internally and externally
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including communicating complex information clearly
- Ability to work autonomously, using own initiative
- Commitment to the principles of inclusivity, equality, equity, and diversity
