Senior Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse Key Requirements:
• UK professional body registration.
• Current Theatre experience with a proven ability to thrive under pressure.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Working Week/Hours: 37.5, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts.
• NMC/HCPC registration.
• High standards of clinical competence.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively both in a team and independently.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Proficient in computer skills.
• Ability to plan equipment and consumable requirements.
Senior Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse Roles and Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the Theatre Team to deliver a high standard of efficient, personalized patient care.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills with an unwavering commitment to exceptional customer service.
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, ensuring optimal clinical outcomes for patients.
• Experience in orthopaedics, including hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, would be advantageous but not mandatory.
