What you`ll be doing
You`ll really bolster your career by joining our small but growing and thriving team as Senior OutwardsReinsurance Technician and expanding your existing experience in the London insurance market . You`ll deal with all aspects of the daily processing and management of outwards reinsurance contracts ensuring a coordinated approach throughout all activities the team undertake all the while building and maintaining strong relationships across the organisation, providing a greater focus on quality through the implementation and ongoing management of technical best practices. Additionally, you`ll be responsible for building and maintaining a strong reputation both within the Group and with Brokers and Reinsurers within the market.

A day in the life..
You`ll find yourself busy in the role and never without something to do as this is a varied and constantly changing position. The role includes responsibility for the accuracy and timely completion (within SLA`s) of key processes including; contract entry, reinsurance premiums and recoveries, advices, brokerage, premium adjustments and profit commissions in-line with the group`s guidelines and procedures. Peer reviewing contract details, reviewing gross claims movements, calculating and processing reinsurance premiums, adjustments, brokerage, collections and pro-rata accounts, issuing statements to brokers / reinsurers and recovering and advising sums due. You may on occasion be asked to represent the Outward Reinsurance Operations team at key meetings.
