Exciting Opportunity for an experienced Real Estate Paralegal!

An exceptional law firm based in Sheffield is currently seeking a dedicated Paralegal or Senior Paralegal with a background in real estate to join their team. If you have experience in the estate agency field, this could be the perfect fit for you.

In this role, you will collaborate with associates and partners across various departments in the UK offices, contributing to a range of tasks and projects. The primary focus will be on supporting energy clients in English law transactions, which involves negotiating and finalising easements and way-leaves, handling options for and variations to such documents, and assisting with the acquisition and leasing of sub-stations and construction compounds.

Real Estate Paralegal responsibilities:

• Effectively managing a busy caseload of transactions, including client liaison for obtaining instructions.
• Drafting acquisition documentation, engaging in negotiations with transaction counterparts, and conducting title reviews.
• Assisting in file opening procedures, including the preparation of the first draft of the retainer letter and ensuring compliance with money laundering regulations.
• Utilising data rooms and online trackers for efficient workflow.
• Handling completion and post-completion registrations, forms, filing, and meeting client signing/reporting requirements.
