High Level Paraplanner Required

Are you looking for a role as a Senior Paraplanner that has the path to Directorship within an ambitious privately owned Wealth Management firm in Ipswich? Salary range is from £50,000 - £80,000.

We are looking for a high level Paraplanner to join a client of ours, ideally close to chartered or beyond but not essential.  You must have IFA experience and good overall knowledge around research, systems, investment processes/markets, products, compliance. 

Ideally you would be looking for some office cover, 2 days a week minimum but if someone wants to work from home mostly then that is fine for the right person. 

There is the opportunity to earn above and beyond the advertised salary if you have the skills, drive and experience to take over all the back office work, oversee the other paraplanners work, get involved with compliance and run the office to free up the Directors time to grow the business.

If you are career driven and want to get involved in new business, client review meetings and networking – then potential earnings can increase! In excess of £100k is achievable and a path to Directorship can be forged

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactive Leadership: Demonstrate a proactive and can-do attitude, setting the tone for the paraplanning team.
  • Lead by example, instilling a progressive mindset and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Technology Integration: Stay at the forefront of technological advancements in the wealth management industry.
  • Collaborate with the team to implement and optimise new systems that enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Team Development: Serve as a clear leader for the paraplanning team, mentoring, coaching, and inspiring team members. Identify and facilitate training opportunities to elevate the team's technical skills and expertise.
  • Operational Efficiency: Identify areas for improvement and work closely with the Senior Management Team to implement efficient and compliant process enhancements.
  • Client Experience: Professional Development: Identify inspiring Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities for the planning team.
  • Attend monthly meetings to deliver insightful content and contribute to the overall growth and development of the team.

To be considered:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Paraplanner in a wealth management setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and developing team members.
  • In-depth knowledge of the latest technology trends in wealth management.
  • Relevant industry qualifications and certifications.
