We are seeking a Part-Time Senior Payroll Administrator with bureau experience running full end to end payrolls for multiple clients of various frequency, i.e. weekly/monthly and four weekly.
Due to advances in technology, the job no longer requires full-time hours but it would be ideal for a person seeking part-time hours (Monday to Thursday of 20 hours a week) and a stable and friendly office environment.
The ideal candidate must be able to work alone or as part of a team. They must possess excellent communications skills both written and oral. They should be able to work under pressure and to deadlines with knowledge of a variety of payroll software including BRIGHTPAY.
Key responsibilities but not solely limited to:
- Processing weekly, monthly and 4 weekly payroll using Brightpay software, including calculation of holiday pay, pro rata payments and statutory payments, payroll year end and P11D benefit statements
- Administration of pension scheme and auto enrolment duties
- Liaising with pension scheme administrators
- Keeping relevant payroll records and running associated reports for the Accounts Department and Management Team
- Point of contact for client queries and external bodies including HMRC
- Ad hoc admin tasks and duties
