About the opportunity We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior People Partner – Logistics to join our dynamic People team. As a key leadership role, you will collaborate closely with the Logistics & Supply Chain Director and their leadership team to deliver a proactive, commercial, and value-adding generalist HR/People service to all distribution centres and Supply Chain teams.

Act as a strategic business partner to the Logistics & Supply Chain Director, providing input into the functional People plan and ensuring the logistics agenda is represented within the People team.
Performance Management:
Lead and inspire the distribution People team People Partners to implement the People strategy effectively, driving year-on-year improvement in key performance indicators such as labour turnover, performance management, absence levels, stability, headcount, and succession.
Change Management:
Lead and implement people change projects in logistics in collaboration with People team centres of excellence and leadership teams, ensuring effective change management processes.
Talent Management:
Develop and implement a clear talent plan for logistics, fostering career development, promoting the right behaviours, well-being, and diversity & inclusion priorities.
Employee Relations:
Manage a proactive working relationship with the recognised trade union, taking a lead on all union matters impacting sites and serving as a point of escalation for complex issues.
Continuous Improvement:
Continually review and enhance people processes to ensure they are fit for purpose in a retail environment, collaborating with centres of excellence to drive improvements.
Your Voice Champion:
Advocate for Your Voice, identifying focus areas and collaborating with centres of excellence to ensure the voice of Store Managers and colleagues is heard and acted upon for an improved colleague experience.
People Agenda:
Lead the People agenda, ensuring that ‘Care for our Colleagues’ remains at the centre of all HR activities. What you'll need... Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience in a senior HR role, preferably within logistics and supply chain.
Excellent understanding of HR best practices and industry trends.
Ability to build and maintain transparent relationships with union partners.
Demonstrated success in driving change initiatives and improving key performance indicators.
CIPD is desirable but not essential
Experience of leading a team
Experience of a fast-paced, multi-site service sector industry.
Experience of influencing senior stakeholders (up to board level).

Change Management Expertise:
A change manager with the ability to overcome concerns and fears associated with transitioning from traditional ways of working.
Metrics Interpretation:
Able to understand and interpret people metrics, developing action plans to improve current performance.
Leadership Development:
Ability to coach and develop senior logistics leaders within operational logistics and central logistics.
Presentation and Facilitation:
