My client is one of Northern Ireland’s leading specialistfaçade companies, they have gained an excellent industry reputation built on 25years’ experience of successfully delivering multi-million-pound contractsencompassing retail, commercial, educational, and healthcare projects acrossIreland the UK. They have recently invested in new state-of-the-art offices coupledwith a cutting-edge 40,000 square foot production facility based in Lisburn.
They seek to recruit a full-time permanent Senior Plannerto join their dynamic team. You will contribute to our success by playing acrucial role in the planning and coordination ensuring timely and efficientexecution of projects.
Key Tasks -
-Collaborate with the project team to developcomprehensive phased project programmes.
-Producing marked up drawings relevant to theproject phases.
-Analysis, preparation and monitoring of projecttimelines, identifying critical paths and key milestones and potential risks, developingproactive mitigation strategies.
-Coordinate with internal departments, externalcontractors, and suppliers.
-Maintain accurate project documentation,including progress reports and change orders.
-Provide expertise and support to the projectteam, producing resource histograms relevant to capacity planning/labourrequirements/cash flow forecasts.
-Assist the estimating department on project bidsincluding programme creation, resourcing requirements & capacity planning.
-Assist the production team with planning inputto the production planning tools.
-Play a key role at internal/external projectmeetings.
-Assist with EOT claims by providing programmerelated input relating to delay entitlement.
-Carry out ‘What IF’ scenarios to forecastrisks/opportunities.
-Demonstrates commercial acumen.
-Periodic visits to construction sites within theUK & Ireland may be required.
The Candidate should have the following skills: -
-3 years planning experience within aconstruction background.
-Proficient in the use of Project Planningsoftware and competence in MS Office.
-Confident individual able to challengeinternal/external project stakeholders.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitieswith an eye for detail.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skillswith ability to work collaboratively.
-Proven ability to effectively manage multipletasks concurrently across diverse projects.
-Façade experience - preferred
-ASTA Powerproject – desirable
