We are proud to be representing a frontline development and planning business which operates within a much larger commercial and residential property adviser practice.
Due to a healthy workload are now on the look out for a Senior Planner to lead the office in Bristol.
Essential Criteria for a Senior Planner:
- Degree and/or Masters in Town or Spatial Planning.
- Chartered Member of the RTPI.
- Minimum of 2 years planning experience post qualification.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
- Full driving licence and use of own car.
Responsibilities and Duties of a Senior Planner:
- Assessing the potential of site for a range of developments, identifying opportunities and constraints, and advising clients as such.
- Preparation and coordination of planning (and associated) applications including the drafting of supporting statements.
- Liaising with internal and external technical specialties, clients and Local Planning Authorities.
- Preparation of fee proposals and management of project budgets.
- Undertaking planning research as required by members of the team.
- Maintain a programme of CPD.
