Job Description
- Lead the planning and execution of supply chain strategies.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to meet production requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Implement cost-effective procurement strategies.
- Manage team performance and development.
- Analyse market trends to identify supply chain risks.
- Oversee the preparation and negotiation of contracts with suppliers.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this FMCG role in Northampton you should have:
- A degree in supply chain management, business administration or related field.
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the FMCG industry.
- Strong strategic planning and organisational skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of procurement and supply chain software.
- Proficiency in data analysis and forecasting methods.
