The Role:
As a Senior Planner, you will be integral to the Planning & Implementation department, contributing to the delivery of a top-quality service that adheres to high standards of advice and support. This role involves:

• Managing a variety of cases with varying complexities, particularly in Development Management.
• Ensuring compliance with all statutory regulations and legislation while adhering to professional codes of practice and council policies.
• Developing and delivering projects and policies that align with both corporate and business plans.
• Providing specialist advice in Development Management, staying abreast of current and emerging legislation, and ensuring continuous development and improvement of services.
• Handling complex planning applications and appeals, and acting as the point of contact for such cases.
