SENIOR PLANNING POLICY OFFICER
Salary: Grade 10 (SCP 31-33) £39,186 - £41,418 pro rata
Part Time – 29.6 hours per week
We are looking for a confident, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Planning Policy team and help take the Derbyshire Dales Local Plan forward.
The ideal person must have a degree in Town Planning or a related discipline, excellent communication skills, be able to demonstrate good research and analytical skills, initiative and solid application, as well as work under pressure.
The successful candidate must have at least 5 years’ experience in Planning Policy formulation obtained either with a local planning authority or planning consultancy, and be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of the NPPF and NPPG, as well as the legislation associated with the preparation of Local Plans.
