Job Title: Senior PMO Manager

Contract Type: Permanent 

Location: Edinburgh or Alderley Edge        

Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based

Closing date: 21st January 2024

As Senior PMO ManagerDelivery Oversight you will support the Head of PMO by leading the Delivery PMO team. The primary objective is to lead on oversight, challenge, and assurance activity across the RLG Change Portfolio. The Portfolio is executed utilising both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, you will ensure the appropriate Governance, insights delivery and outcome reporting are timely and accurate in line with methodology to drive decision making across the Portfolio.

 

About the role

 

  • Understand the overall demand for delivery PMO support and ensure the team is appropriately sized and capable to meet these evolving demands
  • Ensure that the Delivery PMO are champions of the best practice, standards, processes, templates, and tools
  • Offer independent oversight and challenge of the performance of change delivery
  • Support in the identification of and rollout of continuous improvement of effective P3M standards
  • Ensure timely and quality flow of information between the individual change teams and the overall Portfolio

 

About you

 

  • Experience in the management of portfolio, programme, and project lifecycles
  • Experience in leading a team and monitoring, measuring, and improving capability
  • Strong understanding of risk management, control & assurance frameworks
  • Strong understanding of project planning, resource management and financial management
  • Understanding of agile change frameworks, and the role of PMO within
  • Ability to stay up to date on PMO and wider change management industry trends
  • Project management or PMO qualification such as P3O or PMP, etc
