As a Senior Policy Advisor, you will be at the forefront of driving positive change and innovation within Southampton City Council. Working closely with stakeholders across various sectors, you will play a key role in researching, analysing, and formulating policy recommendations to address complex challenges facing our city. This is an exciting opportunity to influence decision-making, drive forward strategic initiatives, and make a tangible impact on the lives of Southampton residents.
The successful candidate will have significant experience of strategy and policy analysis and development, as well as an excellent understanding of local government and the local, regional and national challenges and opportunities for the public sector.
This is a high profile, fast paced and challenging role working with senior leaders across the council, as well as elected Members. We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and flexible individual, with excellent communication, presentation, research and analytical skills, as well as experience of thinking strategically, and anticipating and responding to complex issues with creative solutions.
