Senior Policy Officer

I am working with a local authority in Kent who are looking for a Senior Policy Officer to work on their new local plan for a minimum of 6 months.

The successful candidate will need - 

• - 10 years + planning policy experience in/for Local Authorities. -
• Track record of delivering key policy workstreams and products.
• - Excellent technical skills and experience, ideally working on Local Plan development and a range of evidence base studies.
• Able to brief senior officers and councillor and gain their commitment and understanding.
• Politically aware and able to work with lead councillors

The Benefits -

• - 6 month contract
• monthly site visits 
• £55p/h
