Salary £45,403 - £52,493 plus attractive retention bonus. 37 hours a week
A very well-known local authority based in the West Midland area are looking for an experienced Senior Practitioner to join their Localities Team. You will be joining a organisation with around 5,100 staff members coming from a range of different backgrounds, they believe in pushing the boundaries in developing children's services and have a clear career progression for staff. About the role, you will be:
- Supervising less experienced social workers to help achieve positive outcomes for children and families.
- Lead on complex cases and chair meetings.
- Managing case reviews and core group meetings, collect and analyse information to report back to the Team Manager.
- Model and uphold good practice across the team.
- Hold a small but complex caseload.
- Assist the Team Manager when needed.
About you:
As a Senior practitioner you will need to have significant experience working within children and family services . Ideally you will have:
- Experience of working within a variety of teams within children's services
- Proven track record of statutory social work experience
- Sound and robust legal framework knowledge
- SWE registered.
- Full UK drivers license
- Right to work in the UK
