SalaryWe are looking to recruit a Senior Practitioner in the Reablement Team within Barking & Dagenham. The successful candidate will be working in a well-structured, organised team who are growing their social worker staffing levels.

The responsibilities of the Senior Practitioner includes:
- As a Social Worker, your workload will be varied, as you listen to our service users stories. You will be able to fulfil all duties within a safeguarding enquiry process as set out in the Care Act 2014 and within the spirit of 'Making Safeguarding Personal". You will provide case management, guidance, support and expert advice to other Reablement Care agency staff, Social Care Staff and students where appropriate.
- You may also be delegated to work in our Reablement team, a new project funded by grant allocation for the Local Authority Urgent and Emergency Care Support Fund. This includes allocations to local authorities for 2023 to 2024.
- The purpose of this fund is to enable local authorities to fund additional interventions or services which support urgent and emergency care performance and resilience over the 2023 to 2024 winter period, whether by helping prevent avoidable admissions to hospital or by reducing discharge delays.
To ideal candidate will have:
- Social Work England registration
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Social Work qualified (MA/BSc/DPSW/CQSW/MSc/BA)
