SalaryI am currently looking for a Senior/Principal Bridge Consultant to join our client on a full time contract due to commence in the next few weeks.
The role is available due to major project wins in the region and my client requires consultant to support the increasing workload.
The role will involve managing and co-ordinating the completion of sub-contracted Principal Inspections,, liaison with the Inspection subcontractor and third parties, responding to technical queries, and reviewing report submissions. A further part of the role may involve preparing subcontract tender documents for future Principal Inspection packages.
The role is Outside IR35
The ideal candidate
·Experience carrying out Principal Inspections, Assessment and Design Calculations.
·Experience of completing Highway Bridge Inspections (including investigation techniques and report writing for local authorities or National Highway).
·Working knowledge of The Inspection Manual for Highways Structures and CS450 Inspection of Highway Structures.
·Computer literate particularly with packages such as Microsoft Excel and Word.
·Experience of working with clients, contractors, stakeholders, with a particular emphasis on co-ordinating structures inspection / investigations by contractors;
·Capable of working within time and cost constraints and managing a portfolio of bridge inspections.
