Location: Hybrid, home based + co-working space in Holborn, Central London.

We are a UK based Med Comms agency, with a team of 55 amazing employees. With ambitious growth plans, we are now looking for a Senior or Principal Medical Writer to join our established team.
About the Role:
• Lead the development of high-quality scientific content across various therapeutic areas, including draft visuals, on allocated accounts (dependent on experience: acting as the Lead on at least one or more accounts)
• Collaborate with internal teams, including account managers, creatives, and medical experts, to ensure the seamless delivery of projects.
• Use expert knowledge to review content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to client expectations.
• Support the client pitch process by providing expert knowledge, insights, and advice.
• Leads on defined projects / areas of responsibility at client meetings and workshops.
• Applies commercial and strategic thinking to all work, dependent on experience, will supports the SD on client strategy for allocated accounts.
• Stay updated on industry trends, guidelines, and best practices to inform and enhance the quality of medical writing.
• Share knowledge and expertise freely: mentors and provide guidance to junior team members, and expert advice and guidance on product / therapy aeras to internal stakeholders.
• Depending on experience, may take line manager responsibility for Medical Writer / or will work towards.
About You:
• Degree-level qualification in a relevant science essential.
• Post-graduate or PhD desirable.
• Proven experience in medical writing within a medical communications agency or similar environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
