My client are a specialized legal firm, is known for providing a personalized and high-quality service. While their primary focus is on Commercial Litigation, they also boast departments dedicated to Private Client, Family/Divorce, Property, and Insurance. Situated in multiple offices in Birmingham, the firm is currently experiencing both organic growth and strategic acquisitions, making it an excellent opportunity to become part of their expanding team.

Their client base comprises SMEs, with a particular emphasis on organizations, high street chains, pharmaceutical/beauty companies, banks, landlords, hotels, restaurants, and bars.

There is an immediate opening for a Private Client Solicitor within their successful Wills and Probate Department.

The ideal candidate will become a valuable member of a small team, gaining hands-on experience in a variety of tasks. Key qualifications and skills for the role include:

• Solicitor with 8 years+ PQE and approximately 8 years of relevant experience (though all suitably qualified candidates, including those with more experience, will be considered)
• Experience in handling tax, trusts, and probate matters
• Willingness to actively participate in business development initiatives
• Strong work ethic with a positive 'can do' attitude
• Ability to manage a volume of cases and meet deadlines
• Organizational and time management skills
• Excellent drafting skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Strong commercial acumen
• STEP qualification is preferred
• Additional qualifications such as being Head of Department or aspiring to be one are beneficial but not essential
• Proven performance may lead to options for shares/partnership
• Travel between offices may be required, making a driving license advantageous
