We are working with a client who provides actionable Process Safety risk assessments, protecting people, workplaces, and the environment. They are seeking a Senior Process Safety Consultant.

What you’ll do:

You will be working in partnership with clients on specific Process Safety items, which can be related to management of chemicals on site, or chemicals leaving site by way of emissions for example. Your role will be to deliver on Process Hazards Analysis (PHA), Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOPS), Dangerous Substances and Explosives Atmosphere Regulation (DSEAR), Layer Of Protection Analysis (LOPA) and functional safety activities.

The role holder will also be across any changes to legislation. Changes to the law will impact on clients and you will be keeping across changes to the legal environment as well as maintaining a strong overall expertise within the core fields of knowledge pertinent to this role (documentation changes, process changes, update information on ad-hoc basis from regulatory bodies).

Your background:

We are seeking an individual who is a Chemical Engineer and has experience of consulting. This can be from working in another established consultancy in the same field or perhaps you have worked independently.

We are seeking a strong grounding and understanding of the fields of PHA, HAZOPS, DSEAR, LOPA and functional safety.
