Senior Procurement Manager - 2 days onsite in Cambridge, UK
Our client are a leading British company in the semiconductor industry who are looking for a Senior Procurement Manager in their Delivery & Vendor Management Team.
You will have global responsible for supporting the end-to-end life cycle of procurement, working across 15 countries, with a focus on People Services, Talent Acquisition, HR.
Responsibilities:
- Working with Procurement Business Partners to deliver significant change projects and supporting the RFP, negotiation and contracting processes.
- Deliver cost savings and efficiencies to the business through the implementation of sourcing plans.
- Delivery of sourcing activities including planning, negotiation and implementation for RFPs/CCNs/SOWs and contract renewals.
- Maintain and develop knowledge of the markets and supply chain.
- Build and maintain working relationships with stakeholders.
- Utilise SAP Ariba to support the delivery of procurement activities.
- Demonstrate and embed DEI behaviours and practices.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong understanding of procurement lifecycle.
- Proficient Ariba User both S2P and Contract Workspace modules.
- Strong communicating and influencing skills at all levels both internally and externally
- Strong analytical skills – ability to source data, analyse and draw conclusions
- Experience with the technology or semi-conductor industry would be helpful
