We are currently seeking an individual to join this team in the role of Senior Product Control Manager.

The primary purpose of the Senior Manager is to provide comprehensive management support to the Global Product Management function and Securities Services business. The Global Product Management team is responsible for the definition, design and maintenance of products and services across our key markets in order to achieve revenue growth, cost management and principles of global standards.

In this role, you will:  

•    Oversee the development and maintenance of product collateral, including sales and service definitions and management of the service catalogue residing on the central product management repository
•    Initiate periodic reviews of product roadmaps in collaboration with product and sector heads to determine 3-5 year developments with investment requirements and revenue projections in order to gain approvals from senior stakeholder groups within HSBC
•    Be accountable for review and implementation of product governance standards and requirements (e.g. Product Reviews, Product Risk Assessment Model, etc.)
•    Refresh product rate cards across: Fund Services, Global Custody & Treasury, Securities Lending, Global Distribution and Transfer Agency, Private Assets in collaboration with product management
•    Work closely with the Product, Sales & Client Management, Product Delivery, Operations, IT and relevant functional teams to help govern, deploy best practices and oversee product lifecycle for Securities services products.  

To be successful in this role you should meet the following:

•    Possess a broad understanding of the Product Management lifecycle and Operating model components with knowledge of Securities Services product areas such as Fund Administration, Private Asset, Custody and/or Transfer Agency essential
•    Ability to face off against the broader bank and manage a diverse set of stakeholders, can demonstrate ability to manage executives both internally and externally.
•    Confident communicator with excellent written and spoken skills, combined with the ability to present and influence both senior and large audiences.
•    Ability to cope with multiple priorities and coordinate the efforts of others in order to bring a process to closure whilst working to tight deadlines.
•    An understanding of varied product solutions required within the client base in addition to a sound understanding of risk management and mitigation techniques.

The base location for this role is London OR Edinburgh.
