We are delighted to present an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Product Owner, with a minimum of 10 years of experience and a proven track record in delivering significant and highly visible public programmes, to join a prestigious public sector organisation in London, on a major contactless payment system initiative.
Role Overview:
You will oversee a critical Product Area focused on fare allocations, customer billing, revenue apportionment, and the application of associated discounts and concessions. You will be assigned to 1-2 development teams and tasked with spearheading improvements in fare system functionality and processes, ensuring fare policy compliance, and collaborating with quality assurance teams for audits. A crucial aspect of your duties includes maintaining a consistent flow of user stories for your teams, defining and managing dependencies and integration points with other Product Areas, and aligning your Product Area with the overarching Product Strategy and MVP within established timelines.
Requirements:
Necessary:
- Product Owner experience of at least 10 years.
- Experience of delivery in highly important and publicly visible delivery programmes.
- Experience in technical systems and data analysis.
- Experience in developing complex, high transaction back-office systems.
- Experience implementing systems using Azure technologies (incl. Functions, Storage, Service Bus).
- Experience with PCI compliant payment solutions.
Highly Desirable:
- Transport industry experience with a focus on journey construction, fares, and payments.
- SFIA Certification.
