Job Title: Senior Programme Manager - F-35 Sustainment

Salary: £60,000 + depending on experience
What you'll be doing:
- Lead and manage a team of approx. 15 Project Management professionals covering both Project Control and delivery.
- Be the principal contract interface to the Lockheed Martin subcontract management organisation which will involve regular travel to the USA (3-5 trips per year)
- Act as the integration point for all discharged work packages to the Service Delivery Units, USA based military service depots and BAE Systems Inc.
- Oversee and manage the suite of recurring service and non-recurring contracts holding significant financial responsibility; ensuring defined requirements and budgets and are discharged on the relevant internal and external organisations
- Responsible for the business operations and governance covering operational review processes, Integrated business planning, and delivery of improvement initiatives.
- Responsible for contract status reporting, providing clear management information on spend and achievement progress through key metrics.
- Work as part of a multifunctional team, with commercial, programme management, supply chain, procurement and engineering
Your skills and experiences:
- Experienced and proficient in project management, project control principles, Contract Management processes, and lifecycle management
- Proven track record of management of significant contracts, sub departments Cost Centre and financial, reporting management of departmental budget and cost base, management of contracts through contract management pack as appropriate and IBP planning (resource and financial projections)
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior Internal and External stakeholders
- Spares and repairs / service contracting - working knowledge / experience advantageous
- Experience in Line Management and leading teams of teams

The F35 Systems and Equipment Services team:
The Systems & Equipment organisation supports the global fleet of F35 aircraft, providing, spares, repairs and technical support for the BAE Systems provided equipment. The jobholder will be directly responsible for business operations and contract management and will be part of a senior leadership team
