Overview

We are looking for a Senior Planner/Senior Project Controls Engineerto join PM Group working for us in our vibrant Birmingham or Manchester offices.

 

Job Title: Senior Planner/Senior Project Controls Engineer

Location: Manchester/Birmingham

Contract: Full time - Permanent

 

 

 


Responsibilities

As a part of the UK Project Controls team you'll be supporting our EPCM (Engineer Procurement and Construction Management) delivery of services across our portfolio of client projects, working within multi-disciplinary teams.

 

In this varied role you'll provide Planning support on complex engineering projects. You'll develop, track and control schedules and budgets while ensuring goals and timelines are achieved while also providing updates and recommendations on earned value.

 

You'll also perform Critical Path development and analysis, host interactive planning workshops and monitor project milestones.  

 


Qualifications
  • Previous Planning experience
  • Degree or equivalent in related subject (e.g. engineering or construction management)
  • Specific sector related experience including; Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Chemical, Petrochemical, Energy & Environmental and Gas.
  • Understanding of Project Controls techniques, CPM and EVM
  • Strong background in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
  • Self motivated and proactive
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Methodical and logical approach to work, with an ability to meet multiple deadlines
