Your new role The Senior Project Engineer role is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about the procurement aspects of construction and wants to challenge the norm and bring fresh new ideas. The role involves working on high profile, technically complex mechanical projects across multiple sectors in the Midlands region. The Senior Project Engineer will provide visible leadership, insight, direction and foresight in the safe and profitable delivery of schemes, while also ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and team development. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in project management, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving, as well as a keen interest in innovation and sustainability. What you\'ll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following responsibilities: Develop, control, and ensure delivery against the project budgets, including profit, preliminaries and procurements. You will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of the project, ensuring that costs are minimised, and revenues are maximised, while meeting quality and safety standards. Secure and manage the appropriate resources to deliver the project / scheme effectively and efficiently in a professional manner. You will be responsible for planning, organising, and coordinating the human, material, and technical resources needed to complete the project within the time, scope, and budget constraints. Implement and manage the development of the Project Quality Plan, Trade Quality Plans, and Defect rectification procedures. You will be responsible for ensuring that the project meets the customer’s expectations and specifications, as well as the company’s quality standards and policies. You will also be responsible for identifying, reporting, and resolving any defects or issues that may arise during the project lifecycle. Ensure there is a successful and smooth handover of the project, including support to customer/ end user throughout the handover process. You will be responsible for ensuring that the project is delivered on time and in accordance with the contract terms and conditions. You will also be responsible for providing support and guidance to the customer/ end user during the handover process, ensuring their satisfaction and feedback.
