Description
As a Senior Project Manager your duties will include however will not be limited to:
- Overseeing and managing R&D project activities within the Engineering & Manufacturing department.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Develop project plans and schedules, allocating resources as necessary.
- Monitor project progress and implement necessary changes to meet objectives.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders about project status and issues.
- Identify and manage project risks to prevent delays or budget overruns.
- Managing and developing a team of up to 5 Project Managers.
Profile
The successful Senior Project Manager should have:
- Previously worked in a similar Project Management position within Engineering or Manufacturing - ESSENTIAL
- Managed and developed a team previously, demonstrating excellent leadership and team management skills - ESSENTIAL
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills - ESSENTIAL
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines - ESSENTIAL
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (MS Projects) - ESSENTIAL
- A project management qualification - ESSENTIAL
- A degree or equivalent in a relevant field - DESIRABLE
- Working knowledge of NEC4 - DESIRABLE
Job Offer
- Day rate c£500 (inside IR35)
- 6 month minimum contract - ongoing
