Location: Hybrid Leeds (min. 2 or 3 times a month)

Package:  £55k to £65k Basic, Bonus and Benefits

Job brief

Our client is the world’s leading member-owned, not-for-profit protection organisation. They are currently going through a substantial business and technology transformation to set them up for present and future demands.

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager who will report to a Portfolio Manager and manage multiple/complex projects from inception through to handover to business, ensuring the delivery of specified products and services within agreed time, quality and cost parameters.

The goal is to provide leadership of project teams and ensure team members are informed, have clear goals, and work collaboratively and in partnership with other stakeholders to achieve planned outcomes in the delivery of strategic priorities.

Responsibilities

• Managing the full end to end delivery of projects allocated within client’s Portfolio.
• Manage Portfolio Project(s) budget.
• Undertakes project risk management, ensuring updates are regularly provided on project delivery status
• Lead project teams, by using your leadership style, organisation, problem-solving, motivational skills and experience to ensure that projects are delivered to TCQ and they meet business expectations.
• Builds productive relationships across the organisation, identifying and developing engagement opportunities with key stakeholders.
• Contributes to performance standards and measures to ensure these are being applied consistently and any gaps are identified for performance improvement.
• Develops and encourages continuous learning within the business, including coaching/mentoring.
• Manage projects within agreed governance structures and processes.
• Regulatory, legal, data and H&S compliance.

Requirements and skills

• Experience in at least one Agile Methodology
• Familiarity with structured programme and project management approaches (preferably PRINCE2)
• Strong track record of successful management and delivery of projects
• Extensive experience of working in relationship based environments.
• Experience of delivering projects in a matrix type structure
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
