This role requires frequent travel to Leeds for meetings and training as and when they come up.
What you'll be doing:
- Guiding and directing Project Managers.
- Ensuring that effective project controls are established and maintained for all projects within their span of control.
- Influencing and organising project teams, setting clear goals and establishing priorities.
- Effectively engaging the customer, subcontractors, third parties and, developing positive, enduring relationships up to and including “C” level.
- Ensuring that a clear understanding of projects’ progress, plans, risk and status is regularly, clearly and accurately reported, identifying and resolving conflicts wherever they arise.
What you’ll bring:
- Strong and proven project management background delivering IT projects.
- Oracle E-Business Suite or ERP experience.
- Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills with the ability to work proactively with minimal guidance.
- Solid understanding and experience of the application of project delivery frameworks (e.g. waterfall, Agile, hybrid).
- Public Sector experience.

Salary: up to £75,000 depending upon experience and development needs
