Job Title:Senior Project ManagerLocation: Rochester, Kent, we offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.Salary: Circa £73,000 depending on skills and experience + car allowance and annual bonusesWhat you'll be doing:
Developing and maintaining excellent customer relationsManaging team, or teams of teams depending upon value and complexityDeveloping and maintaining a detailed project plan that embraces all elements of the projectDriving ownership of Work Packages and tasks throughout the project teamManaging the project or bid to ensure all milestones and objectives are achievedUsing project management techniques, to enable early disclosure of problems and effective implementation of mitigation actionsAchieving the agreed project cost, sales, margin and cash flow targetsAccountability for performance and delivery of program(s)Your skills and experiences: Essential:Proven track record in delivery of a project or bid within tight timescale in a high pressured environment to ensure all milestones and objectives are achievedUsing project management techniques, to enable early identification of problems and implementation of mitigation actionsDeveloping and maintaining excellent customer relationsDeveloping and maintaining a detailed project plan that embraces all elements of the projectDesirable:Previous experience in Aerospace/Defence businessA formal project management qualification (e.g. APMP, PMQ, PMP or Prince 2) or equivalent experienceBroad cross functional business experienceEducated to degree level or equivalent - business or engineering preferablyExperience of mentoring and coachingBenefits: You'll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan. The role will be to lead a multidiscipline IPT which could be anywhere within the lifecycle of cradle to grave for our product development of military and commercial products.This role gives you the opportunity to work on a portfolio of projects with a rough estimate of £20 Million in value.
