Senior Project Manager

Zenith People are working with our client who are looking to recruit for a Senior Project Manager on a permanent basis. Our client is recruiting for someone to help build upon their existing superb reputation for the go to company for Commercial heatpumps and CHP systems.

Reporting into the Managing Director, duties and responsibilities will be as follows:-

Main Objectives:

• Ensure the performance of the Project in producing a quality project in a safe environment for the client and the installation team, with on time and on or below cost delivery
• Maintain all project reporting protocol
• To act as a communicator between the client, The Business and delivery team inclusive of sub-contractors and consultants
• Ensure that reporting and plans are completed and updated within stipulated time frames
• To ensure that team maximises revenue generation and profitability by identifying additional revenue or cost saving opportunities
• Regularly visit sites and ensure sub-contractors provide weekly progress reports as well as ensuring weekly reports to clients.
• Drive the Operational side of the Business with high energy and focus
• Provide inspiration and motivation to the team.
• To comply with the Group’s and Government Health and Safety Policy, GDPR and HSE.

Required experience

• Delivery of M&E type projects.
• Electrical experience or qualifications.
• Demonstrable success in the technical arena.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams.
• Sound understanding of all commercial aspects associated with projects.
• Ability to work alongside a large parent organisation.
• Future potential of an Ops Director position.
• Industry experience is not required, you are supported directly by motivated and enthusiastic Engineers with decades of hands-on experience
• Hard working, with the ability to just stick at it and find a workable solution.

Salary and Benefits:
