Our client are looking for a Senior Project Manager with experience from either a mechanical, production or construction field to work from their Bolton offices. The company manufacture specialist, high quality security system doors for clients in nuclear, defence and security sectors and provide these to businesses internationally.
The Role and its Responsibilities
Our client is looking for a candidate with experience in a Senior PM role who can manage the following:
- Overall management of contract from receipt to install
- Strategic planning, risk and change management
- Project and resource planning
- Budget and time constraints kept on schedule
- Risk management
- Cost to completion control
- Ensuring contract requirements are maintained
- Health and Safety
- Team motivation
- Work effectively with other teams on projects
- Documentation filing
- Progress report production
- Management of sub-contractors
- Identify changes that need to be made and implement
The Individual
The client is looking for a Senior Project Manager who has excellent analytical and problem solving skills and who can complete projects to the best outcome. Written and oral communication skills must be on point as you will need to manage your team and clients effectively and travel will be required between sites so you will need to be flexible around this.
Skills and Qualifications
- Project Management qualification
- Degree/HND in Mechanical and Production Biased Engineering or Construction
- Work experience in a highly regulated industry
- Knowledge of PM techniques and tools; Work Packages, MS Project, Primavera P6
- Working knowledge of NEC procedures
- People management
- H&S qualification
Salary and Package
60-65K plus company benefits and car allowance.
