Senior Project Manager (Plumbing)
£55,000 - £70,000 (depending on experience)
Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm
Holiday, Pension, Car Allowance, Hybrid working options
Based from the Head Office in Leighton Buzzard with weekly visits to sites in Kent.
KHR has partnered with a respected MEP Engineering firm that provides installation services to residential construction sites across the UK.
The Senior Project Manager (Plumbing) is an essential hire for the business so securing the right person is crucial.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Project Manager / Site Manager with extensive plumbing knowledge; who has exposure working with property developers and overseeing a team of skilled operatives.
Responsibilities of the Senior PM:
- Oversee and manage construction projects from conception to completion
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project success
- Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timely completion
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal teams
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction activities and address any issues or concerns
- Provide leadership and guidance to project team members
Candidate Profile:
- 5+ years experience in a similar project/site management role
- Strong knowledge of construction/plumbing processes and techniques
- Proficiency in using construction management software and tools
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders
- Problem-solving skills to address challenges that may arise during construction projects
- Must have gold, white or black CSCS card
- Previous experience working with property developers / on new build sites would be advantageous
